Arrests Made in Robbery Offenses in the First, Third and Fifth Districts

 

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First, Third and Fifth Districts announce arrests have been made in reference to multiple Robbery offenses that occurred at the following locations:

 

First District:

 

  • Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery: On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 6:18 pm, in the 400 block of East Capitol Street, Southeast, the suspects approached the victim and assaulted the victim. The suspects attempted to take the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-273

 

  • Simple Assault: On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 6:24 pm, in the 200 block of Tingey Street, Southeast, the suspects assaulted the victim and then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-270

 

  • Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery: On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 6:30 pm, in the 1000 block of New Jersey Avenue, Northwest, the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-324

 

 

Third District:

 

  • Theft I: On Monday, September 2, 2019, at approximately 9:00 pm, in the 1600 block of 6th Street, Northwest, the suspects took an unoccupied scooter then fled the scene. CCN: 19-156-244

 

  • Theft I: On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 5:54 pm, in the 1600 block of 11th Street, Northwest, the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s scooter. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-258

 

Fifth District:

 

  • Robbery (Force and Violence): On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 6:40 pm, in the 1900 block of 4th Street, Northeast, the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-298

 

  • Robbery (Snatch): On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 6:46 pm, in the 600 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast, the suspects approached the victim and snatched the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-300

 

  • Robbery (Force and Violence): On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 6:48 pm, in the 1200 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast, the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 19-161-305

 

On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, a 16 year-old juvenile male and a 14 year-old juvenile male, both of Northeast, DC, were arrested and charged with the above offenses.
