Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 900 Block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, in the 900 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast.

 

At approximately 12:40 pm, the suspect brandished a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

 

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 30-year-old Herman Epps, Jr., of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
