Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, in the 4400 block Benning Road, Northeast.

At approximately 8:50 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect and victim engaged in a verbal altercation.  The suspect left the establishment and returned a short time later.  The suspect brandished a handgun, threatened the victim, and then fled the scene.

On Thursday, February 28, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 24 year-old Antonio Medley, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
