Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 1300 Block of Maple View Place, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, April 5, 2019, in the 1300 block of Maple View Place, Southeast.

 

At approximately 5:11 pm, the suspect approached the victim in a vehicle at the listed location. The suspect brandished a gun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in the vehicle.

 

On Saturday, April 6, 2019, 18 year-old Gregory Wright, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
