On Sunday, July 6, 2014 at approximately 5:23 am, Mr. DaShawn Hammonds was shot and killed in the rear of the 1200 block of Simms Place, NE.  The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
