The Department's Strategic Business Plan (SBP) is a two-year plan that is updated annually. The SBP presents MPD's overarching strategic goals, key result measures by which to measure performance, and the key issues and challenges facing MPD--such as demographic changes in the city, the growing importance of homeland security, or depreciating resources.
