On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at approximately 1:34 pm,  Mr. Marcus Covington was shot and killed in the 1100 block of Howard Road, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information about this homicide.

This case was closed with an arrest on March 19, 2021.
