On Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at approximately 11:36 pm, Mr. Berner Johnson was injured while involved in an altercation in the 100 block of K Street, SE. Mr. Johnson succumbed to his injuries on May 21, 2019. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
